Scrambled Eggs

Easy egg recipe that’s low cholesterol.

  • Whisk
  • Frying pan

Ingredients

  • Egg whites: 3
  • Egg yolk: 1
  • Water: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt: 1/8 tspoon
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Pepper

Instructions

Food Preparation

  1. Place the egg whites, egg yolk, water and salt in a small mixing bowl
  2. Whisk wet until frothy

Cooking

  1. Add olive oil a pan over medium-high heat
  2. Add wet mixture to pan
  3. Stir until firm
  4. Add fresh ground black pepper to taste

Tips

  • Scrambled eggs will keep for ~24 hours
  • Pair with sauteed mushrooms, onions/shallots (recipe)
  • Can be used in sandwiches with a lettuce, roasted red pepper, guacamole (recipe)
