The recipes accumulated primarily focus on minimal to no vitamin K content, because it reverses the effect of warfarin/coumadin. Fluctuation is OK, but can increase the frequency of testing (which likely means dosage change, leading to more testing). The following considerations come into play after vitamin K (no particular order):
- Taste: No one cares how healthy it is if the taste is horrible
- Cholesterol
- Diabetes
- Gluten-free
- Diet deficiency (IE: iron, B12)
- Vegetarian/Vegan
- Allergies (IE: peanut, lactose)
I try to provide links to nutrition information, tips and recipe credit where possible. I’m no chef – I regularly browse Reddit’s r/food subreddit for inspiration. I don’t bother with pictures and placement – maybe in the future.
